Your "boring" week makes the BEST content (that your dream clients love)
You are too close to see them. I can.

The Heart of the Problem
You are the person who notices what others need.
Artists, creatives, VAs and social media managers often live like this, with a heart turned outward and a brain full of other people’s to-do lists.
This means expressing yourself can feel strangely hard.
You have ideas, voice notes, half-sentences and moments you dismiss as mundane or boring. They sit in your phone like a travel suitcase you never unpack, full of souvenirs you keep walking past because you are busy looking after everyone else first.
Templates and prompts promise to help. None of them sounds like you. It feels like picking up the next book in a fantasy series and realising you have forgotten who the characters are. The information exists, but the meaning has gone missing somewhere between caring for clients, creating for others, and trying to run your own life.
The real issue isn't that you're boring or have nothing to say – you simply can't see the Magic in your own stories.
When you live inside your life all day, the extraordinary begins to look ordinary. Your week feels like a long travel day where every airport blends into the next, familiar and forgettable from the inside seat.
You dismiss these moments as “just life”, meanwhile, your dream clients see them as “finally, someone gets it.”
What You Actually Need
You need someone on the outside looking in.
Not another template or another prompt that doesn't sound like you. Not more pressure to create when you're already creating for everyone else.
You need someone who can see the stories you're standing inside but can't see yourself.
That's where I come in.
Meet Jo, The Dot Catcher
I have always seen life in stories.
At school, teachers asked for a paragraph, and I handed in an essay. One line was never one line. Context lived underneath everything, and my brain refused to ignore it.
That part of me never switched off.
Someone mentions a tiny detail, and I hear the thread inside it. The moments you call mundane or boring often hold the doorway to your real message, especially the comments you nearly dismiss while the kettle boils and the dog decides it is the perfect time to demand attention.
Stories behave like chapters in a favourite book. One small scene makes no sense until someone reads the pages around it. My job is to notice the chapter you are standing in and show you how it fits the whole plot of your business.
Most people are too close to their own lives to notice this happening.
I listen from the outside and hear what is actually there.
For one week, that brain is focused entirely on YOUR stories.
Here’s how The Dot Catcher works
Before we begin
You receive a pre-questionnaire so I can understand you, your business, and the people you care about first. This helps me listen with the right ears from day one.
During the week
Each morning, I send a gentle prompt to open the day.
You respond however life allows, with a voice note while the kettle boils, a quick message between clients, or a longer ramble when you finally sit down.
I listen for what you cannot hear from the inside.
When something matters, I ask a simple question, and we follow that thread together.
Your week becomes a little like travelling with a good guide. You are busy living the trip, and I am noticing the details you would walk past, collecting the stories you will want to keep.
Time varies with your week. Many clients spend around 5–10 minutes per prompt or message, and some days naturally take longer when a story opens up. You share at a pace that fits real life, not a stopwatch.
What you do
You live your ordinary, beautiful, messy week and share it with me.
What I do
I turn those ordinary moments into language you can use across your whole business, not only social media. Marketing is emails, websites, proposals, talks, podcasts, bios and courses. Your stories deserve to travel further than a grid square.
We don’t want staging or scripts, only your real life as it unfolds.
How It Feels From the Inside
It doesn't feel like content creation. It feels like having a conversation with someone who actually listens.
You're not performing or staging anything – you're just sharing your real week. The messy bits, the funny bits, the moments you'd normally dismiss.
A prompt arrives in the morning, and you answer it while walking the dog or between client calls. I ask a follow-up question. You respond when you have time.
By the end of the week, you'll see your ordinary moments differently because I showed you what you couldn't see from the inside.
What You Walk Away With
A complete transcription of your week in your own words
30+ story-ready pieces shaped from your life
Your Story Bank in Notion is organised and easy to return to
A Dot Map Summary showing the themes that kept appearing
Thread Highlights that reveal your strongest messages
Prompts you can use long after our week ends
These are not one-off posts.
These become long-term marketing assets you can use for years.
Your stories fit places far beyond social media:
emails that sound like you
website copy with real heartbeat
proposals that feel human
podcast and talk ideas
course material
bio and about pages
A voice note about the dog interrupting a client call can become a boundary story. A travel day that went sideways can become a lesson about expectations. The ordinary week you almost ignored becomes the language of your brand.

Why This Works
This works because it begins with a human mind beside yours.
I listen for meaning before anything else.
I pay attention to the details you overlook while you are busy caring for clients, creating for others, and keeping life moving.
Tools may help me organise or phrase what we find, the same way a photographer uses editing software or a writer uses spellcheck. Tools never decide what matters. I catch the dots and threads from your life (using my brain).
You speak your week.
I translate the story.
Most people are too close to hear the value of their own voice. From the outside, the pattern is clear. My role is to reflect that pattern back to you in language you can actually use.
This Is For You If
You prefer voice notes over meetings.
You think in fragments rather than scripts.
You have ideas without structure.
You want marketing that sounds like a person.
You value nuance over noise.
Why Caring Professionals Need This
Artists, creatives, VAs and social media managers spend their days holding other people’s stories. Coaches and helpers put clients first and leave their own voice last. This week gives you a place to be heard instead of being useful.
Why This Is Different
This is not content training, and it is not a course you need to complete.
You do not learn to be a storyteller in this space. I find the stories for you.
The focus is your real week and your real voice. I translate what you already say into a language you can use across your whole business, long after our time together ends.

See It in Real Life
A client once told me a simple story about taking her granddaughter swimming.
She felt nervous. The child felt confident. Fear slowly turned into pride.
I caught three things:
The dot was the pool moment
The thread was protection versus trust.
The lesson was about letting people discover their own strength.
I heard the meaning first.
We then shaped the lesson together. The idea was human. The phrasing support was practical.
That one everyday story became:
social posts in her voice
language for her welcome pack
a piece for her about page
a way to explain how she supports clients
The moment she called mundane became the heart of her message.
This is how The Dot Catcher works.
You live the story. I find the meaning.
A Few Words From People Who Have Been Here
“Jo knows exactly what to say when you cannot find your words. She makes life so much easier.”
– Kuve.
“I really did get a lot out of our session. It truly was inspiring.”
– Christine.
“I had a consult with Jo, and she is a whole vibe. She will get it done for you and help you fill your gaps.”
– Clare.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
You hear your life from the inside, where everything feels familiar and mundane. I hear it from the outside where those same moments sound human, relatable and full of meaning. The story you dismiss is often the one your DREAM clients recognise immediately.
-
Yes. Everything you share during our week stays between us. Your stories belong to you and are only shaped for your use. I never reuse client material as examples without clear permission
-
You do. The stories come from your life and your words. I shape them for you, but they belong to you to use anywhere and for as long as you like
-
Software can organise words and tidy the structure. Software cannot hear the pride in your voice or notice the sentence you nearly skipped. I work with what is human first and use tools only to support what we have already found together.
-
Absolutely. Creatives often believe their process is too messy or visual to become language. Those sketchbook moments, studio frustrations and tiny wins are rich with story. I translate that creative world into words without flattening your personality.
-
Later rarely arrives when you are busy looking after everyone else. This week gives you a small container of attention without adding pressure to your schedule.

Your life is already full of stories, on quiet days as much as the messy ones.
